An icecream shop that looks straight out of a fairytale, tucked away in a picture perfect seaside town, that would be Robe Icecream shop in a nutshell. This place was the number one stop on our itinerary for day 1, stuff that happens when you hand over the planning to your 12 year old!

Located on Victoria Street, Robe icecream shop is beautifully done up and hard to miss. They have ample seating, both inside and outside. after much contemplation, the children selected a mango icecream and the forever standard flavour, cookies and cream. Priced at $6 for a scoop, it is definitely not cheap. The mango icecream was really nice, while the cookies and cream was average at best as per the kids. However, the place is worth a visit if you are a fan of quirky and quaint places.

Even though the icecream shop had seating, the children wanted to have their icecream by the seaside and after a quick stroll around, we made our way to the beach. And the little one almost got ambushed by a seagull, but that’s a story for another day. As for me, Robe Icecream shop took me back to the fairytale world of Enid Blyton!
